My name is Stewart Poindexter, and my parents named me that because they wanted me to have a difficult childhood.
*insert awkward laughter*
In all seriousness, the last name Poindexter makes it easy to figure out what you want to do. Sports aren't your thing, so you go for smarts, even if your grades in high school disagree.
You do whatever you can to find your lane so you can stay in it. It's taken decades to find my lane. Over the years I've learned that band, choir, chess club, key club, psychology club, filmmaking, photography, design aren't my lane. I wouldn't even say it's writing.
It's problem-solving. It's smart solutions to difficult problems. My favorite medium to do that is writing.
My name is Stewart Poindexter, and I'm nerdy by name, nature, and nurture. I want to be a copywriter and here's my portfolio to prove it. If you would like talk about your problems, I'm here to listen. Let's play a game of chess and make magic.
